Our little Easton Ray was born on April 26th a 9:59 AM. 4 years ago on the same day is when Jace and I met, two years later we got engaged on the same day, and than another two years later our baby boy was perfect! Jace was getting really impatient to get this little guy to come out, he was just so anxious to meet him. I woke up at 3:30 early Monday morning to use the restroom and crawled back into bed. About 10 minutes later my water broke, I said to Jace "Jace I think my water just broke." We both looked at each other and said what do we do, when we both intially Kristina (our sister in law and pregnancy coach :) We did and she told us we needed to head down to the hospital. We got there at 5, and I got my epiderual right away and after 50 minutes of pushing we welcomed our little Easton Ray into the world. 8.5 pounds 20 inches with a head full of brown hair and some good hands for catching a football!

His jaundice levels were a little high, but the Dr sent us home and told us to have him get tested. We took him in at 4:00 on tuesday and his levels went up a bit and they wanted to see him in the morning. We went back wednesday morning and they had gone up to a 15, so we had to take Easton back to the hospital. This was SO hard on me! I just got my baby boy home and than I had to take him back. Its hard on me he just has to stay under the lights, I can't hold him unless I'm feeding him. So rough on a new mom. At first he didn't like it at all, but now he had become pretty content about the situation and has been starting to eat really well.
All ready to go home :)

As soon as Jace and I found out we were pregnet we both had the feeling it was going to be a boy. So we went and purchased this outfit for him.

Easton's room

I told Jace that Easton wasn't allowed to be born until his room was completed. We finished it yesterday and the house is all ready for our new addition.

We are very happy with the results! I was deep cleaning the house on thursday and I think I threw away the cable that gets the pictures off of our camera, so these pictures are from Jaces phone. That is something I need to get taken care of before Easton comes. At my appointment on Wednesday I was 90% effaced and dilated 2.5 centimeters. Our next appointment is Thursday and that doctor said he would strip my membranes, and than would be induced on April 26th. Jace has to go to Texas on April 30th to get certified in CrossFit, so we wanted to be sure he would be here for the birth. I am going to be a wreck without Jace here, but luckily my mom will be here to help support me. Honestly, it is probably going to be the hardest on will be hard on him to leave his newborn baby for four days :(
We are going to jump on the bandwagon and go private, for Easton's sake. Jace was even a little nervous about posting pictures of our home. So please leave your e-mail in a comment or send me a message at so you can still follow our blog.
