Growing up way too fast!

First thing Easton did when he sat on Santa's lap he pulled his beard

After Thanksgiving dinner

Easton is growing up WAY too fast! The other day, Easton fell asleep in my arms... I just starred at him, wondering who this little babe will become. I caught myself getting emotional just looking back at these past 8 months. Some little fun facts about my little man...

wears size 12-18 month clothes

rolls around all over the place

flirting with the idea of crawling (he gets on his hands and knees and rocks)

loves to splash in the tub
LOVES all flavors of baby food
can pick up puffs and put them in his mouth
sleeps 11 hours and night and takes 2 naps

5 months!

Look how big our little man has gotten. Easton is SUCH a joy in our lives! He continues to amaze us everyday! We took him in for his 4 month check up and he was pretty much 50% on all his measurements. Two weeks later we took him back in because of some eczema and he was up to 68% on weight. And now at 21 weeks when we weighed him on our scale he toppled off at 18.5 pounds. He has rolls on his wrists, his thighs, his ankles...and those adorable chubby cheeks just keep getting bigger. Easton rolled over for the first time at 17 weeks. But the little stinker did it in his crib so we didn't get to see him, now he loves to roll from his back to his tummy and than gets frustrated because he gets stuck on his tummy. Easton still LOVES his baths, he loves to play with the water...he has almost grown out of his tub even!
Easton LOVES those cougars! But hates watching football games, because Jace gets pretty into and it scares our little chunk chunks.

Easton has slept thru the night ever since he was 2 months. He is also a good napper....usually 3 naps a day!

Our little man loves his cereal especially when I flavor it with prunes or banana's!
He will sit in his high chair and lean forward waiting anxiously for us to start feeding him.

I just love these jammies!

We spent the weekend down in St. George with Jace's parents. Easton got to spend time with his cousins. Katelyn is definitely his favorite.

Easton can sit up for about 10 seconds but than gets tired and leans back down. He also loves to play in his jumped for short periods of time...he gets tired from it pretty fast. Watch this video of Easton playing in his jumper.

Fathers Day

Last year on father's day Jace said to me, maybe next year I will be a daddy on father's day...I told him maybe in two years. He was so sad the rest of the day, luckily Jace's nieces and nephews made him a big card that said, "you are like a dad to us" and that cheered him up. Little did I know that we would have a 7 week old baby boy on fathers day.

He always sleeps with his mouth open

Big yawn and wink....this kid is talented

Easton's Newborn Pictures

Our friend Abbey Kyhl at AK studio and design who also did our wedding photo's, took Easton's newborn pictures. Even though he pooped in my hand, peed on both Jace and I, and was fussy the entire time...she still managed to get these AMAZING photos! Thank you Abbey!

I love my baby boy!

We took Easton to the hospital so they could poke his foot to check his billy levels, and all is well. The doctor said his levels are coming down on their own so we don't need to worry about putting him under the billy lights again. He is such a good baby! I absolutley love being a mom. I just look at him and my heart melts, he is such a blessing in our lives!

Don't you just love those cheeks, they even wiggle when we drive in the car :)

Our little Easton Ray was born on April 26th a 9:59 AM. 4 years ago on the same day is when Jace and I met, two years later we got engaged on the same day, and than another two years later our baby boy was perfect! Jace was getting really impatient to get this little guy to come out, he was just so anxious to meet him. I woke up at 3:30 early Monday morning to use the restroom and crawled back into bed. About 10 minutes later my water broke, I said to Jace "Jace I think my water just broke." We both looked at each other and said what do we do, when we both intially Kristina (our sister in law and pregnancy coach :) We did and she told us we needed to head down to the hospital. We got there at 5, and I got my epiderual right away and after 50 minutes of pushing we welcomed our little Easton Ray into the world. 8.5 pounds 20 inches with a head full of brown hair and some good hands for catching a football!

His jaundice levels were a little high, but the Dr sent us home and told us to have him get tested. We took him in at 4:00 on tuesday and his levels went up a bit and they wanted to see him in the morning. We went back wednesday morning and they had gone up to a 15, so we had to take Easton back to the hospital. This was SO hard on me! I just got my baby boy home and than I had to take him back. Its hard on me he just has to stay under the lights, I can't hold him unless I'm feeding him. So rough on a new mom. At first he didn't like it at all, but now he had become pretty content about the situation and has been starting to eat really well.
All ready to go home :)

As soon as Jace and I found out we were pregnet we both had the feeling it was going to be a boy. So we went and purchased this outfit for him.

Easton's room

I told Jace that Easton wasn't allowed to be born until his room was completed. We finished it yesterday and the house is all ready for our new addition.

We are very happy with the results! I was deep cleaning the house on thursday and I think I threw away the cable that gets the pictures off of our camera, so these pictures are from Jaces phone. That is something I need to get taken care of before Easton comes. At my appointment on Wednesday I was 90% effaced and dilated 2.5 centimeters. Our next appointment is Thursday and that doctor said he would strip my membranes, and than would be induced on April 26th. Jace has to go to Texas on April 30th to get certified in CrossFit, so we wanted to be sure he would be here for the birth. I am going to be a wreck without Jace here, but luckily my mom will be here to help support me. Honestly, it is probably going to be the hardest on will be hard on him to leave his newborn baby for four days :(
We are going to jump on the bandwagon and go private, for Easton's sake. Jace was even a little nervous about posting pictures of our home. So please leave your e-mail in a comment or send me a message at so you can still follow our blog.

Just like daddy....

Look how adorable he is! We just had our 28 week appointment on Friday. My mom was in town so she was able to come with us. Bobbie, the ultrasound tech, said Easton already had hair and eyelashes which is unusual at 28 weeks. He was already doing breathing motions as well. His umbilical cord is right there on his cheek which is why it is a funny shape. Mind you, if any of you knew Jace as a baby Easton is just like daddy....he had his mouth open during the entire ultrasound, and he sure got Daddy's lips. We just can't wait to meet our handsome young man!

Easton Ray

We have officially named our baby.....EASTON RAY OLIVERSON. Poor Jace had to give up Jaxon, though I do love that name, just not with our last name. Easton has been growing so quickly!
About a month ago, after Jace and I had finished teaching temple prep at church I stood up and felt a lot of pelvic pressure...I said something to Jace about it but wasn't concerned. After I got home from church it started getting really tight I wasn't even able to walk, about 30 minutes later the pain eased up. Jace called our Doctor and he said its just my ligaments stretching and my body preparing for birth. The pain never went away, but it was bearable. I just feared Easton was just going to fall out! On Wednesday the pain started to get really bad and I started spotting, than to make things worse I read on that you should contact your Dr. if you are experience pelvic pressure before 37 weeks. Jace was so concerned he called the Dr. and was able to get me in on that same day. They checked my cervix and everything was perfectly fine. Easton is just carrying really low which is giving me a lot of pelvic pressure. What a relief it was for the both of us!
I will be starting my third trimester on TUESDAY! Jace is just so anxious for baby to get here...he will be an amazing father! We feel so blessed for this opportunity to be parents! I have been feeling good other than weird cravings or anything, just starting to feel really huge!
